“Of Words and Music” Series: In Like a Lion
March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. Welcome March 2011 at the “Of Words and Music” event “In like a Lion,” a program of fierce theatrical monologues acted by seven esteemed local actors and accompanied by drummers and Charlie Gurke on saxophone. The evening including rants and tirades from Shakespeare to Mamet, and will roar with liveliness.
Expunge winter’s stress and prepare yourself for the gentler entrance of spring. The evenings’ performers will include Laura Robinson, Ellen Cace, Jorah LaFleur, Dan Pegoda, Richard Leebrick, Paul Calandrino and Tom Wilson. Charlie Gurkie on Saxophone.
