“Of Words and Music” Series: Special Valentine’s Edition

This month’s theme will be L-O-V-E, love. This special evening of the complimentary expressions of words and music explore, in poetry and song, the passions and pains of love.
Talented female vocalists, Melissa Ruth, Kirstin Nusser, Darcy DaRuz, and Cindy Ingram will share both original and covered tunes while accompanying themselves on a variety of musical instruments including accordion, guitar and ukulele. Local actress, Rebecca Nachison will read poetry from selected authors, Dorianne Laux, Joe Millar, Pablo Neruda, Adrienne Rich and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, just to name a few.
